Dual-plug head

Independent Rear Suspension (IRS)

The Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) offers two big advantages: First, it helps ensure constant tire contact with the ground for superior traction; second, it gives you an ultra-smooth ride over rough terrain, so you don't get beat up on the trail.

Larger 26-inch tires

New, bigger 26-inch tires feature a more aggressive tread pattern for better traction and improved ground clearance.

Automatic transmission

There is no need to worry about slipping belts or wearing clutches—it comes with an automotive-style three-speed automatic transmission, just like a truck's. You can rely on it for a smooth ride and trouble-free service for years.

TraxLok®

TraxLok® offers two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive modes. Lighter steering on flat terrain is provided by two-wheel drive, while four-wheel drive maximizes traction. Switching between modes is easy, offering the best of both worlds.

Semi-dry-sump engine design

Compact and lighter weight, the overhead-valve, semi-dry-sump design creates a shorter engine from top to bottom. This has two big benefits: it enhances handling by lowering the center of gravity and allows for greater ground clearance.

Electric Shift Program (ESP)

Upshifting or downshifting is easy and fast—push one of two handlebar-mounted buttons. Because you don’t have to fuss with a conventional left-foot shift lever, ESP is a huge advantage when riding in heavy boots or adverse conditions.

Longitudinal engine layout

By orienting the crankshaft front to back in the chassis, we route the power flow straight to the wheels without any unnecessary right-angle detours, reducing powertrain friction and putting more grunt to the ground.

Catalytic converter

New cast-aluminum wheels

Along with the new 26-inch tires, you get new cast-aluminum wheels that are lightweight and strong and add to your off-road style.

New front and rear racks

New front and rear racks now feature our super-convenient Honda Pro-Connect system. This system lets you add accessories like front and rear utility baskets or our 28-liter front cargo box fast and without tools. It’s plug-and-play!

Tougher front bumper

Here’s one that’s easy to see: Our new, bigger front bumper offers more coverage and additional headlight and brush protection. It also makes this ATV look more aggressive.

Electrical output

Thanks to the neodymium-magnet stator design, the powerful ACG produces a sufficient amount of electricity so that you can run accessories.

More integrated storage

We’ve kept the original 5.2-liter utility storage box and added an easy-to-access 1.8-liter storage pocket. These pockets are perfect for storing tools, ratchet straps, goggles, and more.

New, bigger instrument screen

Everything about this ATV is top-of-the-line, including a new instrument display. It’s bigger, which means the text is easier to read. And we’ve added a tachometer and changed the background color for better visibility in direct sunlight.

New LED handlebar headlight

This new, handlebar-mounted LED light is a big boost in illumination. Plus, it moves with the handlebar, which helps increase visibility around corners.
