In the 1970s', the Dax (aka the CT70/Trail 70) was one of our most popular models. And now it’s back, and more fun than ever. That’s thanks to its bigger engine (the same family as in our Grom, Monkey, and Trail125), fuel injection, disc brakes, and electric starting. And with room for two, you can share the fun!
While the Dax 125 looks retro, it’s loaded with modern features that make it perfect for the way we ride today. Fuel injection, anti-lock front brakes, electric starting and an all-LED lighting package are just a few.
The original Dax (known as the CT70/Trail 70 in America) was nifty, nimble and easy to ride. It appealed to both die-hard motorcyclists as well as recreational riders, and was just plain fun.
1973 CY50 Nauty Dax
A hit in Europe, the Nauty Dax featured a stepped seat and funky paint. Balloon tires made for easy rolling over rough campsite terrain.
1981 Dax Honda
After a long run the Dax withdrew from European sales, but the CT790 continued to be offered in the US through 1991. Collectors and customizers continued to seek them out long after production stopped.
