RC213V bore and stroke

Drawing on our expertise gained from the MotoGP Championship-winning RC213V, the Fireblade SP features the same bore and stroke (81mm x 48.5mm). And by using our knowledge of optimal cylinder filling and combustion, we've created a powerhouse that sets new standards in performance.

Titanium muffler

Developed jointly with Akrapovič, the muffler is made out of titanium for light weight and improved mass centralization, while a special valve helps boost torque at lower revs and increase horsepower at higher rpm.

New intake-port shape

Redesigned intake ports take performance to a new level, helping increase intake speed charge velocity and improving corner-exit acceleration.

Refined airbox shape

The Fireblade SP airbox refinements and the new intake-port shape further increase the engine’s midrange power.

Narrower intake-side valve angle

A super-narrow nine-degree intake valve angle improves ventilation efficiency in the intake port, significantly boosting power output throughout the rpm range.

Larger throttle bodies

The enlarged throttle bore diameter streamlines airflow from the throttle butterfly to the intake valves, reducing intake air pressure drop for a thrilling boost in power and performance.

Titanium rods

By eliminating the separate fastening nut and utilizing a titanium design inspired by the renowned RC213V-S rod, we've achieved a staggering 50% weight reduction compared to steel rods.

Öhlins second-generation Smart EC suspension

Öhlins' second-generation electronically-controlled NPX fork features a pressurized system that optimizes damping force to enhance bump absorption, providing unmatched precision and near-limitless rider feedback.

Brembo brakes

Brembo radial-mount front calipers combine with the same Brembo rear caliper as the RC213V-S, while the brake master cylinders and front brake lever are also supplied by Brembo, to offer a comprehensive system that delivers the ultimate in stopping power and control.

Redesigned swingarm

With a 15% reduction in horizontal rigidity while maintaining vertical rigidity, the new, longer swingarm provides enhanced control and agility.

Shorter engine

The shortened front-to-back engine design enhanced the bike's overall profile and provided our designers with greater flexibility when placing the powerplant within the chassis.

Compact chassis

The engine's strategically positioned crankshaft centerline enhances stability by achieving ideal front-to-rear balance, while a 24-degree rake angle and an aggressive 101.2mm of trail provide unparalleled flickability.

Aerodynamic winglets

Three wings are installed in each right and left duct to redirect airflow direction. This helps maximize downward g-forces, limiting wheelies on corner exit and increasing grip mid-corner.

30th Anniversary Edition

Join us in celebrating the remarkable 30-year journey of the Fireblade with a special graphics package featuring commemorative designs on the tank, muffler, and intelligent key.

Full-color TFT screen gauges

With a larger TFT display and higher resolution, it offers the customization of essential information such as speedometer, tachometer, gear position, fuel level, engine temperature, riding modes, and more.

Quick shifter

We've taken the quick shifter to new heights, enhancing its speed and minimizing shift shock for reduced engine-speed fluctuations.
