Power. Precision. Pioneer.
Made in the U.S.A
Planned by Honda in our Georgia headquarters, developed and engineered in our Ohio design facility, and produced in our Timmonsville, South Carolina factory, the Pioneer 1000 family is purpose-built for the North American customer base, using domestic and globally sourced parts.
Powerful 999cc twin-cylinder engine
With plenty of power—especially in the midrange and top end—you'll experience quick acceleration and exceptional overall performance.
Fully automatic six-speed DCT
With our Honda six-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), you can choose between manual mode or fully automatic. There’s even an easy-to-use tow/haul mode, along with 2WD, 4WD, Differential Lock, and Turf selections.
Formed ROPS
Our new formed ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) helps create a better sealing surface for accessories, especially items like doors and windshields. Accessories for the new model will be available soon.
Cruise control
Cruise control is a great convenience feature, and another great example of how our Pioneer line keeps improving to better serve your needs.
Selectable drive modes
Four selectable drive modes (Comfort, Normal, Sport and Tow/Haul) let you fine-tune your Pioneer 1000’s power delivery, shift points, and acceleration to the task at hand. You get top performance and a comfortable ride for every riding condition!
Vehicle speed controls
Throttle by wire enables the Pioneer 1000 family to offer cruise control, a variable speed limiter, and a speed limiter key. Cruise control is perfect for moving from one field to another. The variable speed limiter is great for tasks like spraying, mowing, and spreading. And the speed limiter key keeps things under 25 mph for employees or less experienced operators.
Throttle by wire
The Pioneer 1000’s new throttle-by-wire (TBW) system enables a whole host of improvements. What you’ll notice first, though, is how smooth the shifts are.
Improved Electric Power Steering
Our Electric Power Steering (EPS) motor has 50-percent more torque now, and is tuned to improve driver comfort, especially when you’re loaded with passengers and cargo. You also get a more consistent steering effort when operating over rocky terrain or deep mud.
Standard roof
Here’s some welcome news—you asked for it, and now the Pioneer 1000 comes standard with a roof for better weather and sun protection.
Sealed cab
The new 1000 Elite comes with a fully sealed cab, complete with heating, air conditioning, windshield wipers, and more. Developed with the shared knowledge of an industry-leading automotive division, you can be assured it will set the standard for side-by-sides. Now you can work and play in complete comfort, no matter the conditions.
Rear sliding window
Just like the window in the back of a pickup truck, the Elite’s sealed cab features a full-size sliding rear window. Easy to slide open and closed, it lets you get fresh air and conveniently reach items in the bed.
LED headlights
All-new LED headlights are sculpted to match the machine's lines, giving it an aggressive look even when sitting still. They are brighter and feature a specially designed lighting pattern that better illuminates the environment in front of you.
Interior
Major changes to the interior include a new instrument panel, and way more comfort, thanks to better sealing and isolation from engine heat.
New door latches
No detail is too small when you’re as close to perfection as a Pioneer 1000 is. New door latches this year mean fewer rattles for a better driver/passenger experience.
Conquer with confidence
Work easy. Play hard. The all-new Pioneer 1000 delivers the muscle, room, and Honda dependability to carry your day from sunrise chores to sunset trails.

Honda’s first major Pioneer 1000 update in a decade comes in two trims, Deluxe and Elite, with both featuring new styling, throttle-by-wire, new drive modes, cruise control, variable speed limiter, improved EPS, LED headlights, a new 5-inch display, an updated Pro-Connect bed, and more. Plus, the all-new Elite model gets a sealed cab with HVAC for industry-leading heating and cooling. The Deluxe comes in both 3-seat and 5-seat versions (Pioneer 1000 & 1000-5), while the cabbed Elite model is currently only available as a 3-seater.
The Deluxe is the all-new open-cab model, available in both 3- and 5-seat models called the Pioneer 1000 Deluxe and Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe. The Elite (available in a 3-seat format called the Pioneer 1000 Elite) features a sealed, insulated automotive-style cab with industry-leading heating/cooling, an infrared-absorbing glass windshield with a push-button wiper, a rear sliding window, and interior lighting.
No. All Pioneer models utilize automotive-style gear-driven transmissions, offering greater strength and durability compared to the competition’s belt-driven setups. The new models will take it a step further, featuring Honda’s automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), which includes a manual mode with the convenience and fun of paddle shifters.
Yes. 4-wheel-drive with a push-button Turf/2WD/4WD system is standard on all Pioneer 1000 models. The Pioneer 1000 Elite also features i-4WD.
Follow the owner’s manual instructions: initial break-in service is at 100 miles or 20 hours, whichever comes first, then at 600-mile/100-hour intervals thereafter. Always use unleaded gasoline with a pump rating of 86 octane or higher, and SAE 10W-30 oil (Pro Honda GN4 is recommended).
Current Pioneer 1000 models can tow up to 2,500 pounds, and this will remain the same for the new 2026 models.
Highlights include smoother power delivery via the new throttle-by-wire system, drive modes, cruise control and a variable speed limiter. The improved EPS provides easier steering, while the interior features roomy, comfortable seating for all occupants, reduced heat around the seats, additional storage, bigger cupholders, USB-C connectivity, and a larger steering-mounted instrument display.
Both Deluxe models are open-cab and do not, but the Elite gets an automotive-style sealed cab with an HVAC system that features selectable fresh/recirculated air, dual-level vents, cabin filtration, and class-leading heating/cooling performance while driving.
Per the current production schedule, both Deluxe models are scheduled to be available in dealers in early Spring, with the Elite to follow in late 2026.
Yes. Honda Financial Services offers online pre-qualification and financing tools for Honda Powersports vehicles, including the new Pioneer 1000 models.
At launch, expect over 80 different accessories, including Pro-Connect bed attachments, winch kits, lighting, mirrors, speed-limit key, soft cab for the Deluxe models, windscreens, sound systems, added storage, and much more.
Because not all dealers have the ability to offer test riders, we recommend using the Honda dealer locator to search for available inventory in your area, then calling ahead to see if those dealers offer demo rides.
It’s the most comprehensive refresh in the Pioneer’s history, adding throttle by wire, multiple drive and speed-control modes, better EPS, a quieter and more comfortable cabin, new lighting, and improved accessory integration. Additionally, the Elite model is Honda’s first-ever sealed-cab SxS, featuring HVAC and climate control.
All Pioneer side-by-sides include a one-year transferable, unlimited-mileage, limited warranty. Plus, optional HondaCare Protection Plans are available to extend coverage up to an additional 4 years.
