1084cc twin-cylinder engine
The 1084cc liquid-cooled Unicam® parallel-twin engine offers an excellent powerband for sport touring, delivering usable torque from idle to redline. It’s great for everything from tight city streets to sweeping backroads to high-speed highways.
Biaxial counterbalancing
By using counterbalancing elements on two axes, Honda’s engineers can cancel and fine-tune both primary and coupling vibrations from the engine. The result: we can mount the engine solidly for superior strength and handling.
Unicam® engine design

270-degree phase-crank
Most parallel twins use a 180-degree crank, but by phasing this engine’s at 270 degrees, you get a unique, easy-to-modulate power delivery that produces an awesome exhaust sound.

Precise fork
The 43mm Showa® SFF-BP (Separate Fork Function-Big Piston) front-end contributes to the bike’s nimble handling and precise steering. Additionally, the fork is exceptionally compliant, providing a smooth and comfortable ride when logging those long highway miles.
Long-travel suspension
Generous suspension travel of 5.9 inches, both front and rear, helps give you a smooth ride, even on rough roads.
Premium rear suspension
Equipped with a nitrogen-filled remote-reservoir shock that is spring preload adjustable, you get the perfect blend of comfort and performance, elevating your riding experience.
Powerful disc brakes
Twin radial-mounted front brake calipers grip large 310mm discs and work with a single rear disc to deliver excellent stopping power and enhanced control.

Sport tires
Seventeen-inch radial tires front and rear help put the “sport” in sport touring. They handle great in the twisties and provide a smooth, comfortable ride with excellent feedback on the highway.
Six-speed automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission

Throttle by wire
The throttle by wire system expands the bike's versatility. You get four levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control and five power-delivery modes: Tour, Urban, Rain, and two user-customizable options.
Wheelie control
Like our high-tech Supersports, front and rear wheel-speed sensors work with the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system to let you dial in three levels of wheelie control.

Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) lets you tailor the power delivery to suit varying conditions and skill levels. With three distinct levels, you can adjust the amount of torque and rear-wheel slip for optimal performance on all roads in any weather.
Five-position adjustable windscreen
Easy single-handed operation lets you move the windscreen through 6.5 inches of adjustment, for maximum wind protection or cooling airflow.
Extra comfortable seat
On a bike built for long distances, comfort is a must. This is why we gave the seat almost three inches of padding, allowing you to ride all day long, day after day.
Large fuel tank
The exceptionally generous 5.4-gallon fuel tank has plenty of capacity for long rides, especially when paired with our super-efficient engine.
Narrow seat/tank junction
By using our Unicam® engine, we’ve been able to shape the ergonomics to be narrow right where they need to be: the seat and fuel tank junction. This slim design makes it easier for you to put your feet down at stoplights or in parking lots.
