Four-wheeled versatility

Honda introduced the FourTrax Rubicon 4x4 Automatic for 2024, a machine engineered to handle both tough jobs and thrilling off-road adventures with ease. This redesign of its flagship ATV, focused on versatility, aims to strike the perfect balance between rugged utility and recreational performance. Its rider-first design is built to tackle the hardest tasks while providing the comfort and control needed for weekend trail fun.

Focused on versatility, Honda’s Rubicon 700 aims to strike the perfect balance between rugged utility and recreational performance.

Transmission and handling

One of the Rubicon’s standout features is its automotive-style three-speed automatic gearbox, designed to handle rugged conditions without the hassle of slipping belts or worn-out clutches. This reliable transmission offers smooth, trouble-free shifts, whether you're working hard or playing even harder.

Honda’s Electric Shift Program (ESP) simplifies gear changes, allowing you to shift up or down with a tap of the handlebar-mounted buttons. With no need for a conventional foot shifter, riding in bulky boots or tough conditions is even easier. The quick-shifting ESP also enhances traction and stability, giving you more control over slippery or uneven ground.

The Rubicon's exceptional handling is further supported by its rugged suspension system. The Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), with 8.0 inches of travel, works alongside the independent double-wishbone front suspension to provide excellent shock absorption and keep all four wheels grounded. With 9.5 inches of ground clearance and 26-inch tires, this ATV easily conquers challenging terrains like deep mud, sand, or snow.

Honda’s front locking differential adds even more versatility, allowing you to switch between two-wheel and four-wheel drive at the push of a button. For extreme conditions, the front differential lock ensures even power distribution to all four wheels, maximizing grip and control on rugged trails. No matter the terrain – whether it's steep hills or loose gravel – the Rubicon’s transmission and handling work together to provide a confident, controlled ride.

Technology that enhances the ride

Honda has incorporated several rider-focused technologies into the 2024 Rubicon that enhance both convenience and safety. An Electric Power Steering (EPS) system reduces steering effort, especially at low speeds or in rough terrain. EPS automatically adjusts based on speed and torque, making the Rubicon nimbler handling while significantly reducing rider fatigue, especially on long trips or with heavy loads.

A digital instrument panel provides clear, real-time data such as speed, gear position, and fuel level, keeping you informed and in control at all times. Honda’s Pro-Connect cargo system is incorporated into both the front and rear racks, allowing you to securely attach Honda Genuine Accessories for easier transportation of gear, tools, or extra cargo.

Honda has also focused on rider comfort, incorporating a well-cushioned seat and designing the ATV with an ergonomic layout. Whether you're working all day or exploring off-road trails, the Rubicon’s thoughtful design ensures a comfortable ride that minimizes fatigue.

Dual-purpose design

Where the new Rubicon really excels is its seamless blend of utility and recreation. As a heavy-duty workhorse, it boasts cargo racks that can handle up to 286 pounds and a hitch receiver capable of towing up to 848 pounds. Whether you're on a farm, ranch, or out hunting, the Rubicon is up for any task, offering the durability and power you need.

When it’s time for fun, the Rubicon 700 transforms into a capable trail machine.

Its advanced suspension, powerful engine, and modern tech provide an exhilarating ride, whether you're cruising forest trails, climbing rocky paths, or heading out for a weekend camping trip. This versatility makes it ideal for those who need an ATV that transitions seamlessly from work to play.

Ultimate ATV

Honda’s mission with the new Rubicon was clear: to build an ATV that excels both in demanding work environments and during off-road escapades. The result is a machine that combines raw power, innovative technology, and exceptional handling into one all-terrain package. But what truly sets the Rubicon apart is its remarkable versatility. On one side, it’s a heavy-duty utility ATV, equipped to easily haul, tow, and tackle the most challenging jobs. On the other hand, it’s a recreational powerhouse, designed for adventure and exploration, whether you’re cruising along a backwoods trail or pushing through snow-covered paths.

Whether you're looking for an ATV that can plow through your toughest workdays or one that delivers pure exhilaration on your next off-road adventure, the Honda Rubicon 700 Automatic is engineered to do it all – and look great while doing it.
