Unicam® cylinder head

Our flagship model boasts a 999cc liquid-cooled inline twin engine using the same compact Unicam® cylinder head design as your motocross bikes, delivering impressive horsepower and torque.

Engine air intake

We placed the air intake higher up in the hood to ensure a clean air supply, even when fording at greater depths, resulting in improved performance.

Chassis and suspension

Our advanced frame design allows you to tackle any terrain with larger tires and long-travel independent front and rear suspension, providing ample ground clearance.

Independent front and rear suspension

Dual A-arm suspension provides 10.5 inches of front travel and 10 inches in the rear. When paired with ample ground clearance, this maximizes traction and comfort.

Wheels

Light, tough 14-inch aluminum wheels feature an all-black finish, a perfect match for all three color schemes.

Four-wheel disc brakes

Our reliable, four-wheel disc brakes are built to the same standard as our autos. They minimize debris buildup and provide consistent, confident performance on the trail.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

Honda was the first to introduce Electric Power Steering (EPS) for SxSs. Every EPS system features a brushless motor integrated into the ECU, while the return-to-center function makes it easier to maneuver on straight trails.

Auto-leveling rear suspension

Our auto-leveling system ensures a level ride for your vehicle by automatically compressing and extending the shocks when you start driving without any need for electronics. This system provides optimal ground clearance, handling, and comfort without any compromises.

Fully automatic six-speed DCT

Drive the way you want with the industry’s first six-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). Choose between manual mode or fully automatic. There’s even an easy-to-use tow/haul mode, along with 2WD, 4WD, Differential Lock, and Turf selections.

Advanced Transmission Logic

The DCT's Advanced Transmission Logic system senses your driving and adapts. Relaxed drivers get earlier shifts for a quieter ride. Sportier drivers get each gear held longer for higher RPM shifts. And you get real engine braking when going downhill.

High/low subtransmission

With a 42% gear reduction between High and Low, you get the necessary torque in all six gears, which comes in handy when navigating difficult terrain, climbing steep hills, or towing heavy loads.

Paddle shifting

Steering column-mounted paddle shifters add a dose of performance to every drive. In Manual mode, they let you shift without ever taking your hands off the wheel, and in Automatic mode, they let you override the current gear with a quick up or downshift.

Turf/2WD/4WD/diff lock

To avoid damaging sensitive surfaces, make sure to select Turf Mode. If you require maximum traction, switch to 4WD. And if you need the most power for all four wheels, lock the front and rear differentials. The best part is that you can easily do all of this with just a single lever.

2500-pound towing capacity

Have a big load to haul? This SxS offers 2500 pounds of towing capacity and a full cargo bed. So now, instead of hopping on the tractor or taking out the truck, you can stay right in your side-by-side and tackle those bigger jobs with relative ease.

1000-pound-capacity tilt bed

This SxS features a half-ton of hauling capacity.* And when it comes to dumping, we’ve made it easier than ever with a hydraulic assist tilt bed lever.

Tow haul mode

The tow/haul mode is ideal when carrying heavy loads. It has a dedicated switch on the dashboard and holds each gear position longer. This mode is perfect for four-wheel-drive and low-range vehicles over steep trails or large obstacles.

Double-latch doors

Built with safety in mind, our standard hard doors have a double-latching system. Combined with roll-up side nets, they keep elements out and secure inside.

Safety nets

We recently upgraded the safety nets on all our Pioneer 1000 models so they can be connected and disconnected more easily, just like on our Talon sport side-by-side models.

Driver/passenger protection

Safety is a top priority at work or play. The SxS has an Occupant Protection Structure that uses large tubing and meets ISO standards. The cabin features handrails, top tubes, and seatbelts with emergency locking retractors to keep passengers secure.

Seating capacity for six

This side-by-side has a full-sized crew-cab-style back seat with massive leg and foot room for rear passengers. The center seat in the rear is positioned forward to avoid bumping shoulders with other passengers.

The SxS offers unmatched comfort with its increased legroom, staggered rear-center seat, tilt steering wheel, and best-in-class shoulder room.

More underseat storage

The entire front seat area is open, and there's additional storage space beneath the removable rear seat. These spots are ideal for storing heavy tools, chains, tow straps, and other frequently utilized items.

Tilt wheel

A tilt-steering wheel is designed to make getting in and out easier than ever to ensure an even more comfortable driving experience. We’ve given it a wide range of adjustments and a spring-loaded damper that makes tilting it a snap.

Large cupholders

The primary dash-mounted cupholders are big enough to hold the most popular insulated tumblers. Plus, all models also feature cup holders on every door.

Glovebox

In the cabin, a convenient oversized glovebox keeps your essentials dry. The water-resistant door helps prevent the elements from getting inside and features an easy-to-use latch.

Under-dash storage

This functional shelf under the dashboard is designed to store frequently used items within easy reach in the front of the vehicle's cabin.

Prewired for accessories

We’ve pre-wired all models for accessory switches. This slashes installation time for things like a winch alone and makes it easier and cleaner. We’ve even included an extra, integrated grounding terminal.

12-volt accessory socket

This SxS features a standard 12-volt power socket in the bed. This outlet uses a common “cigarette-lighter” style and is perfect for powering things like a spotlight, air compressor, and more.

Large instrument display

The LCD instrument display is easy to read and has big, bright graphics. It includes indicators for speed, fuel level, RPM, transmission mode, water temperature, trip information, and more.

Accessory switch panel

Standard equipment on this SxS is the switch panel, which has room for seven switches, letting you control things like a winch, accessory lights, and more. A fully integrated design, it sits in the center of the dashboard.
