About Jo
Hailing from Suzuka, Japan, Jo Shimoda began riding at age 4 and made history as the first Japanese rider to win in both AMA 250SX and Pro Motocross. Entering his second year aboard a factory Honda CRF250RWE, he’s focused on adding more victories and a championship to his resume in 2025 and beyond.

SuperMotocross 250 Championship
The young Japanese rider scored one overall win and three podiums in the inaugural SMX season.
AMA 250 Supercross Championship
With two career victories and 10 podium finishes, Shimoda continues to showcase his consistency and talent in the highly competitive 250 SX class.
AMA 250 Pro Motocross Championship
