About Jo
Hailing from Suzuka, Japan, Jo Shimoda began riding at age 4 and made history as the first Japanese rider to win in both AMA 250SX and Pro Motocross. Entering his third year aboard a factory Honda CRF250RWE, and fresh off winning the 2025 250 SuperMotocross World Championship, he’s focused on adding more victories and another title to his resume in 2026 and beyond.

SuperMotocross 250 Championship
The young Japanese rider scored one overall win and three podiums in the inaugural SMX season.
AMA 250 Supercross Championship
