Our automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) excels with strong internals, smooth shift mapping, terrain braking, automatic upshifting, low-range subtransmission (Honda exclusive in IRS), and manual-style foot-shift options.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

Our Electric Power Steering (EPS) is both speed- and torque-sensitive and excels at reducing steering effort and kickback through the handlebar. This is a big help when riding in rugged terrain like ruts, rocks, and other challenging environments.

Dual-range drive/low shifter

The DCT models feature a drive/low range in their gearbox, so you can choose the perfect gear for crawling over technical terrain, pulling heavy loads, or cruising on smoother trails.

Longitudinal engine layout

By orienting the crankshaft front to back in the chassis, we route the power flow straight to the wheels without any unnecessary right-angle detours, reducing powertrain friction and putting more grunt to the ground.

Alternator output

Thanks to the stator design, the powerful alternator produces sufficient electricity to run more Honda Accessories.
