By every measure, the Honda RC213V-S is an awe-inspiring motorcycle. Here’s the concept: Take our world-championship-winning RC213V MotoGP racer and add just enough equipment to make it street legal. The RC213V-S uses a 1000cc 90-degree V-4 with a 360-degree crank and gear-driven cams. This is the engine architecture Honda has made famous on the track, winning back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014. Engine braking is four-way adjustable, working in conjunction with Honda Selectable Torque Control. Compact, powerful, and offering both peak power and huge torque.


The RC213V-S’s chassis is another example of Honda engineering at its best. Just look at that frame, and especially the swingarm. They’re designed to cope with the stickiest GP slicks and return a degree of precise feedback and stability that’s positively surgical, and to do it lap after lap, at the most demanding racetracks in the world.


In MotoGP, suspension and chassis setup are the key to winning. The RC213V-S comes with an Öhlins TTX36 rear shock with a special remote preload adjuster and an Öhlins TTX25 gas-charged fork. Without a doubt, this is the best suspension we’ve ever fit to a motorcycle outside of the GP paddock.


The RC213V-S’s Brembo brakes are, in a word, amazing. The radial-mount four-piston front calipers are huge, and grip a pair of massive 320mm discs.
