For the first time since 2008, Honda Red Riders return to the Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN for round 14 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. The first race held in Minneapolis was April 16, 1994 and was won by Jeremy McGrath on a Honda. This weekend marks the 13th time the gate will drop for both the 450 and 250 Supercross classes. Honda has a total of six wins in the 450 class at the Metrodome, the most of any other brand. Can the Team Honda Muscle Milk duo of Trey Canard and Justin Barcia bring home another victory this weekend?

It was a successful night in Houston for Honda Red Riders, with Trey Canard capturing his third podium appearance of the season with a third-place overall, and Justin Barcia finishing just shy of the podium in fourth. In the 250 class, Muscle Milk-backed GEICO Honda’s Wil Hahn put in a strong race effort once again, finishing on the podium for the seventh time and extending his series lead to eight points.

“I am looking forward to this weekend but don’t really know what to expect,” said Barcia. “I have never raced in Minneapolis so don’t know how the stadium is, or what the dirt will be like. Last weekend was alright but not what I want. I want to win and I know I can, so that's the goal for Saturday.”
