The excitement continues this Saturday at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada for round 12 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. The first race held across the border was December 3, 2004, and this continues to be the only international stop on the 17-race circuit. Honda has yet to win a 450 Supercross class main event in Toronto, but Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Justin Barcia is more than capable of changing that. He won in Toronto in both 2011 and 2012 in the 250 Supercross class. Still feeling some affects from his crash last weekend, teammate Trey Canard will not be lining up on the gate this weekend.

Barcia rode to a solid fifth-place overall in Indianapolis aboard his Honda CRF450R but it was a taxing night for Canard, who started the day out strong but went down in the main event and was unable to finish the race. Wil Hahn extended his points lead in the 250 Supercross East Class with a hard-fought third-place finish aboard his GEICO Honda CRF250R.

“I know what to expect in Toronto,” explained Hahn. “I rode there last year on the 450 with factory Honda and the dirt is pretty soft. It can be a lot of fun, and the atmosphere is cool because we are in a different country. I rode pretty defensively last weekend and wasn’t completely happy with my performance. I earned the red plate by being aggressive and I want to return to that in Toronto.”
