Honda Red Riders Jr. Supermoto Challenge
Round 3: Reno, NV
October 2, 2004
The Reno, Nevada, round of the HRCA’s Jr. Supermoto Challenge came down to a head-to-head battle between polesitter Jamie Siever and a determined Chad Cose, with the former ultimately emerging from the five-lap contest with the win—and a ticket to Las Vegas for the series grand finale championship round in November.
Cose, who took second, and third-place finisher Michael Johnson will join Siever in Las Vegas, as the top three riders in each event featuring 12-to-15-year-old hotshoes aboard identically prepared Honda CRF150s advance to the title showdown.
The Challenge next stops this coming Saturday at South Boston Speedway in South Boston, VA, where a fresh crop of young speedsters will vie for those coveted top three slots.
