Honda recently launched a very special new website highlighting the RC-V series of MotoGP machines. Why is it special? Because this site contains information and images of the RC-series machines never seen outside the hallowed halls of HRC.
On the site, you’ll find a timeline history of the RC211V, RC212V and new RC213V, specifications, a Q&A section, a list of victories with links to race reports, riders profiles, etc. But the most compelling stuff includes interviews with development engineers explaining the philosophy behind the design and technology. The technology section includes never before released photography of the RC211V engine, including shots of pistons, camshafts, crankshafts, etc. There’s also a section that takes a close-up look at the amazing electronics that allow a rider to squeeze the most out of a machine that makes 220 horsepower and weighs 30 pounds less than a CBR250R.
If you’re a race fan or gearhead that’s drawn to the most cutting edge motorcycle technology on the planet, plan to spend some quality time on this site.
