Andrew Short is again the top-scoring Honda rider in the 450 class for the second week in a row with a solid 7-2 finish. That got him on the podium in front of his home state crowd of Colorado.

A near mirror image of this performance from last week, Short again outshined the field in the second moto finishing a strong second and challenging for the lead the whole way.

Justin Brayton aboard the Honda Muscle Milk CRF450R struggled early on in the first moto but still got into the top ten.

Brayton looked stronger in moto two. He improved on his first moto finish with a 9-6 on the day. Good enough for seventh overall.

Tommy Hahn started off strong, nailing the holeshot in the first moto. Unfortunately, his luck turned and he finished out of the points due to a crash.

The beast is back! In a muddy moto one, GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia dominates the field by snagging the holeshot and going wire to wire for the win.

Moto two proved to be much the same for Barcia. He didn't nab the holeshot but took the lead early and stayed there.

Barcia's 1-2 finish put him atop the 250 MX Podium and right back into the chase for the championship.

GEICO Honda's Eli Tomac, last weeks overall winner, had a rough go of it in Thunder Valley. He had to fight into the top ten in moto one but still managed a strong fourth place finish.

But a rough outing for a guy like Eli Tomac still means finishing in the top 5. His 4-3 finish in Colorado was good enough for fourth overall on the day and in total points for the season.

Wil Hahn nailed the holeshot in moto two and hung on tough for a gritty top-ten finish.

Hahn's 10-7 results were good enough for an eighth overall on the day.

Ashley Fiolek battled with Jessica Patterson for a hard-earned second place finish in moto one. The two were always just a few bike lengths apart.

Fiolek's crash in moto two set her back and she had to settle for a 2-6 overall on the day.

Tarah Gieger hung in there with the lead pack in both motos and took her opportunities when they presented themselves.

Gieger again hung around in the front of moto two and led the race for a period of time. Her 3-2 finish on the day put her second overall on the day.

Sayaka Kaneshiro rounded out the top Honda WMX finishers with a strong 7-3 showing that had her just missing the podium with a fourth place overall result on the day.
