Andrew Short was the top-scoring Honda rider in the 450 class with 10-5 moto finishes in Texas, good enough for sixth overall.

Andrew Short really showed his stuff in the second moto, when the Texas heat started beating down other riders. Short rode it out to a top-five finish in the moto.

Tommy Hahn went 9-7 at Wortham for seventh overall, right behind Short.

Texas was tough for Team Honda's Justin Brayton. He scored a pair of 14th places for the day.

Smooth, fast, confident, and on a great bike, GEICO Honda's Eli Tomac won both motos in the 250 class to easily take the overall.

Tomac got only fair starts in each moto, so his blast to the front really showed his grit and talent, especially in the typically hot Texas conditions.

Tomac's a close third in the standings, just one point behind second place. With performances like this, he’s got a great shot at the title.

Justin Barcia went 4-5 for a top-five finish at Wortham.

Barcia looked good in both motos, and had a great ride through the pack in the moto two after starting back in 20th.

Wil Hahn finished right behind Barcia in sixth in the second moto, a big improvement from his first-moto results.

Ashley Fiolek went 2-1 at Wortham to take the overall victory.

Fiolek had to overcome a nasty bout of food poisoning, but toughed it out to take the win.

Fiolek's win at Wortham puts her just three points out of the overall points lead early in the season.

Tarah Geiger went 7-4 in Texas to nail down fourth.

Rounding out the top five, Sayaka Kaneshiro rode to a 6-5 finish, securing fifth for the day overall in fifth in the overall points for the season.
